Running away from home...again
We love Steamboat, but the ocean is calling us. We've been planning our return to blue water sailing from the moment that we stepped off our sailboat in 2005 and returned to Colorado. We loved our four years of life aboard our 45-foot catamaran, Snowcat. We sailed 15,000 miles and crossed the Atlantic in that boat, but it was time to go back to work and get the boys in regular school. Now...our boys are on their own and our new catamaran, Snowcat II is awaiting us in Fort Lauderdale.
For those of you who have been following this Life in the Boat blog over the past two years, you'll notice some changes. Karen will still be posting her healthy recipes (and absolutely loves it when you add your comments and thoughts in the comment section). In addition, you will now be able to follow us on our blog map and read Karen and Dean's thoughts on travel, sailing and ocean life.
Take some time to explore our new website. We encourage you to sign up to receive a notification whenever we post something on the blog.
Cheers, Karen and Dean Massey

Don't forget to relay stories of the interesting foods you eat, Karen! (and yes, that was for Karen, since we know Dean's culinary adventures aren't nearly as daring. :))

We (I) just had the best conch salad at Joe's Conch Shack in Bimini! I'll make sure to post pictures of fabulous food on Instagram at the bottom of the blog home page. I've been using my pressure cooking and I'm hoping that you will try my posted recipes in your electric pressure cooker. K
