We weren’t sure what to expect when we returned to Hopetown. Hurricane Dorian slammed into this part of the Bahamas in September 2019 and devastated the region. Several familiar places were destroyed, but the iconic light house survived. #hopetownstrong

While sailing offshore, we all look forward to the next meal as a way of punctuating our day. This Light Key Lime Pie was a hit with our crew and so easy to make. No oven required!

You’ll just need 5 ingredients- a pre-made graham cracker crust, 1 cup of plain yogurt, 1/2 cup Key lime juice, 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 1 pkt unflavored gelatin.

Yay! We made it to the Bahamas with two days of wind, then 3 days of motor-sailing.

And we’re outa here! We’ll round Cape Hatteras

And we’re outa here! We’ll round Cape Hatteras and cross the Gulf Stream around midnight then on to the Bahamas. Our goal is to arrive in the Abacos before a patch of bad weather on Friday. Check out the link on LifeintheBoat.com to follow along.
