Snow for Seven Days in a Row--Time to Dig Out the Slow Cooker

Posted: Dec23,2015 | Modified: February 14, 2018 | by Karen

Digging out the slow cooker with Marley
Time to dig out the slow cooker, but Marley can't understand what it's doing in his territory.

The best part of living in The Boat is the snowy landscapes.  If you're like me, you'd prefer to be experiencing the beauty and not stuck indoors making dinner.  It's days like this that are perfect for digging out the slow cooker and letting it do the cooking.

The best part of slow cooker (or Crock Pot) cooking is that it often feeds a crowd-- or makes enough for a good dinner and several lunches afterwards.  If you like spicy soups then you'll really appreciate my easy, Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup.
